Technology and Performance
The Descend Mips is purpose-built for riders who prioritize safety and style on every run. The Mips® technology reduces rotational forces in angled impacts, and zonal KOROYD® adds lightweight, energy-absorbing protection. Sixteen adjustable vents—part of the Regulator climate control system—allow for custom ventilation in any weather, while the AirEvac™ system keeps lenses clear. The advanced, sweat-activated Ionic+® antimicrobial liner ensures freshness, and the audio-compatible ear pads keep you connected with friends or your favorite playlists. All these features make the Smith Descend Mips an excellent choice for snow helmet safety, ventilation, and all-day comfort.
Helmet Size Guide
How to Measure
Use a soft measuring tape and wrap it around the widest part of your head — typically about 1 inch (2.5 cm) above your eyebrows and ears. Keep the tape level around the back of your head. If you're between sizes, we recommend sizing down or choosing a helmet with an adjustment system.
